glad it's appreciated, thanks! :D

Thank you!
Really good rendering on the metal. I especially love how you painted the robot head with the lights :D
Thanks :D
I think you did a fantastic rendering on your characters and the car up front, but you need some contrast between them and the background. The composition is mostly good, (I love the detail of the smoke leading behind to show they are airborne). But the art is like 80% one color. Its hard to distinguish anything but the characters when everything is the near same shade of green.
(Also theres points on the background where shading on the ground doesn't appear to make much sense. Like around the main characters head..)
I dreamt of a world, entirely immersed in Mountain Dew, with but a single Dorito as its distinguishing feature. Is such a world too powerful for us, its flavourful currents threatening to sweep us away at any moment?
Every time I see a can of Mountain Dew in the store I expect it to have like 3 servings per can.
But yes, this did just start out as "here's two red characters on a green background" and grew horrifically, like Apocalypse Now's budget, into this frustrating to discern monstrosity. Came down to either take it out the back and tell it about the rabbits, or jettison it into the world to make it everyone else's problem.
I voted a 2 on it, myself.
Damn your colors and shading is absolutely fantastic. especially the arm and feet.
Fantastic linework style. I love uggo yet cute art.
I love your color choice. I think it compliments your linework and design well. Posture is lacking, but damn that picnic basket and sandwich look good.
Scarily good rendering on your character. The face shrouded in darkness is spooky and good. Makes me just want to know more about this faceless figure,
In my redesign of Tethys I used more design elements from my original concept from 1987. This is a pretty good representation of how she'll look. She's actually supposed to be covered with fine hairs like some insects and arachnids.
I've taken the Frank Herbert route in regards to creating her world. Except in my case this has been 31 years in the making. It's not based on anything and it's not trying to be like anything. I don't have anything to compare this to except for real life. I studied biology in college just so that I'd be able to do this the way I wanted. Having colleagues more knowledgeable than I means that we can all speak the same language when I have questions and or need technical advice. In other words, my technobabble is consistent ;)
I think the world is ready for another original epic universe. It will be done when it's ready but it will get done.
Thanks for the feedback regardless of my lack of detail in explanation.
Really fun idea for the pose, but man those arms are fucked up. I love how you drew the eyes. keep it up!.
I like to draw and music. And hopefully program in the near future. Currently working on: Comic / Video Game
